Tóm tắt: After recalling some basic notions of linear, cyclic, and repeated-root cyclic codes, we discuss cyclic codes of length $\ell p^s$ over $\mathbb{F}_{p^m}$. We determine their algebraic structure and Hamming distances, classify several MDS, AMDS, and NMDS families, and present applications to quantum codes through the CSS and Steane constructions, including quantum MDS codes.
