Objective

The summer school in Mathematical Physics aims to introduce early-career researchers, graduate students, and undergraduate students to several fundamental research directions in mathematics and physics. In addition to four main lecture series (each consisting of 4–6 hours) and four invited talks (each lasting one hour), the program will include discussion sessions and exercises designed to support participants in assimilating the lecture content.

This summer school is part of a long-term initiative to advance Mathematical Physics and related mathematical disciplines, such as partial differential equations, geometry, and probability theory. It continues the activities of the VIASM–IAMP Summer School 2023 in Quy Nhơn and the VIASM Summer School 2024 in Huế. The 2026 summer school will serve as an important occasion to foster interactions between the Vietnamese and international scientific communities, as it prepares for the organization of the International Congress on Mathematical Physics (ICMP 2027), to be held in Đà Nẵng in 2027.
