IACR-VIASM Summer School on Cryptography 2026

Important Dates and Notes

22/8/2026 – Registration and Opening Ceremony

  • For lecturers, our car will pick you up at 08:00 AM (Aug 22) and at 08:30 AM on the other days from Daewoo Hotel to VIASM and vice versa at 17:30. 
  • For students staying at La Thanh hotel, our car will pick you up at 07:30 AM (Aug 22) and at 08:00 AM on the other days from La Thanh Hotel to VIASM and vice versa at 17:30.
  • Registration will take place from 8:00 AM to 8:30 AM on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at the Vietnam Institute for Advanced Study in Mathematics (VIASM), 161 Huynh Thuc Khang Street, Lang Ward, Hanoi.
  • International participants are requested to bring their passports, as copies of the relevant passport pages may be required.
  • Participants receiving financial support should bring their tickets, invoices, and other supporting documents as instructed.
  • The Opening Ceremony will take place from 8:30 AM to 9:00 AM.
  • A group photo session will be held during the tea break, from 10:00 AM to 10:15 AM.

26/8/2026 – THE QUINTESSENCE OF TONKIN 

  • An optional field trip named “THE QUINTESSENCE OF TONKIN”  will be organized for participants on Wednesday, August 26, 2026.
  • Participants who wish to join the field trip are requested to register via the following form: https://forms.gle/4xBiA7AesboyTvb56.
  • The participation fee is 650.000 VND per person.
  • The registration deadline is Monday, August 24, 2026.
  • The detailed itinerary, departure time, meeting point, and other instructions will be shared with registered participants later.

27/8/2026 – Banquet 

  • The IACR–VIASM Summer School on Cryptography 2026 Banquet will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at Dong Son Drum Restaurant (No 1, Tran Dang Ninh street, Hanoi). Our buses will pick you from VIASM to the restaurant at 18:00 and back to VIASM/hotel at 20:30. 

  • All lecturers and registered participants are invited to attend.
