Tóm tắt: In this talk I shall discuss my recent joint work with Tai Ha and Vivek Lama. We generalise the notion of symbolic defec. Symbolic defect quantifies the difference between the symbolic powers filtration and ordinary power filtration. We generalise this to two arbitrary filtrations and prove some basic results. We also introduce the notion of defect polynomials.
